Cooking instructions
Salt and pepper and oil the roast and let it sit to it gets to room temperature before putting it into a preheated oven of 250 degrees celsius. After 15 minutes reduce the heat to 200 degrees celsius and let it cook for a further 25 to 30 minutes and check the temperature.
The rib roast will be ready cooked to medium rare when the internal temperature is 54 celsius. This will be rare. It will take approximately 50 minutes for a 2 kilo roast. Rest before carving.
