    Quail are a small bird, its meat is very lean, tender and has a rich flavour that is perfect for the BBQ. It is high in protein and Iron and is a healthy alternative to chicken if you don't mind getting your hands involved. 

    Cooking Instructions

    Season well add olive oil and your favourite herbs and grill over the BBQ.  They also lend themselves to being stuffed and cooked in the oven or seared in a pan. Remember to baste the bird. The internal temperature should be 70 C.
